I am so tired of unpacking, that today I took a small break and made thumbtacks from antique earrings that I bought during my flea marketing trip this summer. They were really easy to make, literally took about 10 minutes to do all three pairs. First, I cut the backs off with wire cutters (all three of these pairs were clip-ons). Next, I used my favorite glue, E6000, and glued a metal thumbtack on the back. I let them dry for about 3 hours just to be sure they were dry, and wahlah....pretty thumb tacks!
