Thank you Pinterest for the awesome idea! I made a new jewelry holder for the bathroom out of antique brass candlesticks and antique china plates. Looks even prettier in person!
Not sure of the plate maker, but a little internet research shows that it was probably the German china company Meissen.
This china plate is cream with a light blue rim and pink hand-painted roses - made by a German company called Haviland (the same makers of my great grandmothers china).
This little light blue china plate is trimmed in 18kt and is also made by Haviland.
It turned out so pretty and goes so nice with my grandmother's wall hangings that are also in my bathroom.
