It has been a crazy busy summer of painting, and I have finally finishd one fun project for mi casa!  Of course I don't have a before photo, but it was just plain brown wood, no decoration or anything.  I picked it up at Goodwill a while back because I just knew it would be so cute hanging in our kitchen. We were in desperate need of a home for our keys when not in use, and this fit the bill perfectly since I am trying to add some vintage flare to our house.

I painted it in Annie Sloan Old White chalk paint, distressed the edges and sealed it.  The numbers are antique general store price tags that I found at Third Shift Shop on Etsy.  They let me choose which numbers I wanted, so I went with my daughter's birth dates and my wedding date.

I can put little notes and other goodies for them in the pockets that they will find when the pick up their keys!
